What is Dry Needling ?

Dry Needling is a specific clinical technique which uses the skilled application of solid filiform needles, to penetrate the skin and stimulate the healing process of soft tissue (muscles, trigger points, fascia, ligaments and tendons), improve musculoskeletal pain and reduce biomechanical dysfunction in the body.
It is widely recognised as a popular and effective method for treating both acute and chronic pains and is becoming increasingly preferred in place of oral or injected medicines.
Dry Needling can be used to alleviate a variety of musculoskeletal ailments such as, muscle, fascia and connective tissue dysfunctions (trigger points), restore structural impairments of the body and improve physical activity.
